***EXCLUSIVE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2024 SPECIAL*** Welcome back to The Mojo Podcast. Series 6 of the Mojo Podcast is all about Commitment. A concept that has real weight and meaning for us, as we have all committed at some point in our life and perhaps you're considering a new commitment right now. It's a deeply meaningful area and I wanted to explore it further. So for this season I'll be talking to an amazing array of guests about what commitment means to them and how it impacts their Mojo. How it feels to truly commit to yourself, to your passion & your purpose and to see the results. Rather than sitting on the fence and no committing at all. Because commitment really means choosing not to have any more choice. In episode 3 I talk to Rebecca Welch - a genuine trailblazer in her field. Totally committed to what she is doing, inspiring the next generation of referees as well as greater inclusion in football as a whole. Rebecca Welch became a football referee in 2010 but continued to work in her NHS post until 2019, before turning her attention to officiating on a full-time basis. A true trailblazer, In 2021 she became the first woman to be appointed to referee an EFL match and followed that by becoming the first woman to referee a Premier League match in 2023. During her career, Rebecca has also officiated games in the Women’s Super League and was referee at the 2017 and 2020 Women’s FA Cup Finals. In December 2020 she was added to UEFA’s elite women’s list, going on to referee at international level, including the Women’s World Cup in 2023. See more on her Wikipedia page Mojo for Becs - it's your get up and go - a positive mindset. Thanks to PGMOL for their support in making this conversation happen Remember to
