This episode we are blasting out of this crashing plane on ejector seats and landing deep in the desert of Utah as we take on another John Woo classic: BROKEN ARROW (1996). Down on his luck stealth bomber pilot RILEY HALE suddenly finds himself thrust into a dangerous game of cat and mouse when his copilot and friend(?) VIC DEAKINS snaps and decides to stick it to the man by hijacking 2 thermal nuclear warheads and ransoming them back to the US for a hefty sum…hefty enough so he can live out his dream of providing safe cars for all the people he’s about to blow up. What a thoughtful guy! Can our boyish action hero break the curse of the cookie cutter 90s action stereotype and step up to the challenge of out manoeuvring his nemesis, save America and get the girl (maybe ask her her name first Riles!!)? Join us for another action hero tear down to find out!! And definitely do not ‘get to the choppa’ for this film…it doesn’t seem to work out well for those guys!
