'Angry Boater' will be live at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, twice daily, from Aug 6th to 26th (not Tuesdays). Showtimes are 3.45 pm to 4.45 pm at Finnegans Wake and 7.25 pm to 8.25 pm at City Cafe. _____________________________________________________ Barry Ferns has been on his narrowboat for just 3 weeks. He has already had a window smashed & a solar panel stolen. Joel has been boating for 7 years. Once someone knocked on his boat at 3am and ran off. This week, they are both moored in West London. On top of boating, Joel & Barry also have the comedy world in common. Joel was a comedy promoter from 1994 to 2012. Barry is the brains behind the Angel Comedy Club - ( ) Even though they'd met before, this was the first time they talked properly. Barry has new boater questions. Joel has old boater answers. They swap their stories and discuss boats, comedy & more. It's a fascinating conversation which, as well as covering a range of boating issues, also reveals how Joel got to perform in Vegas and stories of rubbing shoulders with comedy's elite. Barry reminds Joel of his past but is Joel what Barry Ferns is destined to become?
