📺 The Huddle 📺 "Being part of the Euroleague Head Coaches Academy was the best thing to do for me" Our guest this week, Coach Hunor Harkai, lives for his profession and wants to become a better version of himself every day. So he tries to attend lots of clinics and seminars to increase his knowledge. But his best decision ever was to attend the Euroleague Head Coaches Academy in Turkey. For a year he received master classes from top coaches as well as specialists in the field of conditioning, nutrition, etc. Currently Coach Hunor is active in Hungary at basketball club Vasas SC. His main focus is on developing young talents, but also on sharing knowledge among fellow coaches. In the past he has also been active in other countries such as Ireland, Denmark, Malta, ... Given Coach Hunor's very extensive knowledge, we can have a very varied conversation with him this week. You can tell from everything he says that he knows what he is doing. He has also written down this passion in his own book, which will eventually be available in English as well. Zo probeert hij heel veel clinics en seminars te volgen om zijn kennis te vergroten. Maar zijn beste beslissing ooit was het volgen van de Euroleague Head Coaches Academy in Turkije. Een jaar lang kreeg hij masterclasses van zowel topcoaches als specialisten op vlak van conditioning, voeding, etc. Momenteel is Coach Hunor actief in Hongarije bij basketbalclub Vasas SC. Zijn grootste focus ligt op het ontwikkelen van jonge talenten, maar ook op de kennisdeling onder collega-coaches. In het verleden was hij ook actief in andere landen zoals Ierland, Denemarken, Malta, ... Gezien de zeer uitgebreide kennis van Coach Hunor kunnen we deze week een zeer gevarieerd gesprek met hem voeren. Je merkt aan alles wat hij zegt dat hij weet waarmee hij bezig is. Die passie heeft hij ondertussen ook neergeschreven in zijn eigen boek dat op termijn ook in het Engels beschikbaar zal zijn.
