The brainchild of AunTea Kerel, Minoritea Report was born out of the sheer lack of representation and visibility of people that looked, sounded, and acted like the diverse friend groups of “Yo’ AunTeas” Kerel, Dawon, and Jerrell. Independently created and produced since 2019, the goal has always been to highlight and provide a voice for the wide and varying spectrum that is being a Queer BIPOC in today’s world, while building a “CommuniTea” along the way. Rather it be conversations around Sex, Politics, Sports, Beyonce, or their interracial relationships, no topic is off-limits.
