The invasion in Ukraine, which is a fundamental violation of international law, ignited a clear reaction from the Council of Europe. On March 16, 2022, the Committee of Ministers took a firm stance by deciding on the withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the Council of Europe. Questions surrounding the withdrawal have been the subject of many scholarly debates, which is what we're discussing in this episode.
