Two children stay at their family cabin along with their father's girlfriend during a snowstorm. Tensions heighten when odd events occur which shakes their troubled relationship. The Lodge is a heavy movie that explores grief, loneliness, and guilt set in an isolated cabin in the middle of a snowstorm and delves into how these complex emotions can affect an already fragile relationship. The acting is great in this movie especially from Riley Keough, who plays Grace, a lone death cult survivor, who is trying to rebuild her life, but dealing with the lasting impact of her past.
