Burst of knowledge round: Q: The first truly meaningful or inspiring book you ever read? A: He's the Weird Teacher , by Doug Robertson . Q: Favorite game you played as a teenager? A: Sardines Q: What’s your favorite quote or saying? A: I have two: Once children learn how to learn, nothing is going to narrow their mind. The essence of teaching is to make learning contagious, to have one idea spark another. -- Marva Collins Education would be so much more effective if its purpose were to ensure that by the time they leave school every boy and girl should know how much they don't know, and be imbued with a lifelong desire to know it. –Sir William Haley Q: If you had to choose a superpower, what it would be? A: Flight! Q: Favorite movie that you saw in 2014? A: Divergent Q: In less than 10 words, how would you define Success? A: Success is being the best that you know you can be. Q: In less than 10 words, how would you define Failure? A: Failure is not making the effort you know you can. Q: Two to three words, which you do not like? A: “Twerk” and “Shut up”. (39:01) Q: Two to three words, which you think have a negative connotations, but they shouldn’t? A: Common core Q: Define Passion? A: Passion is something, if it was taken away from you, you wouldn’t be the same person at all and I hope that everybody can find a passion. It’s a love of something, but it’s a much deeper word than “love”. It’s something, which you feel, with such joy and something that you want to do, no matter what kind of challenges might face you, you still want to keep doing that thing that you have that passion for.
