Over fifty years later, the area and its residents are still feeling the negative effects of its neighborhood interstate in numerous ways. Now the Colorado Department of Transportation says I-70 must be rebuilt, and in building for the future is potentially ignoring the lessons from our past. Is expanding I-70 through part of North Denver the best solution? Is there a better alternative?
