Together, they highlight how ordinary Canadians are paying more while getting less in return. Franco predicts that the fall session will bring major fights over Carney’s hidden industrial carbon tax, the costly electric vehicle mandate that kicks in next year, and a federal debt that has already soared past $1 trillion. And despite these failures, Ottawa still finds room for bonuses.
