Pumping or expressing your breasts is a wonderful tool to have, and it certainly has its place, however we often fall in to the trap of pumping for the sake of pumping. Storing huge amounts of milk in the freezer for a rainy day usually ends up with the rainy day never arriving, and the many hours spent attached to the pump ends in expired breastmilk in the freezer!
