Believe in your ability. Those words are straight from Dr. Joseph Talbet himself. Dr. Talbet is an inspiring individual in many ways. After getting his pilot's licence and flying for a couple years, he turned back to his true passion, medicine. He completed his MD in Egypt and moved to the United States to become a plastic surgeon. Unfortunately, he was faced with obstacle after obstacle after obstacle. After being told he could not practice in the US with his degree from Egypt, he decided to go to medical school again! While working in the hospital, he was inspired to write his first children's book after having a fun interaction with a patient, passing drawings back and forth. Since then, he has published several children's medical books and is currently working on writing more.
