News Media is going crazy over President Trump sending military troops to the border with Mexico. However, our job teaches us to prepare for the worst. What's the worst in this case? Yes, over 7000 migrants crossing the border and guess what? They are coming to your town! I know certain sanctuary cities will open their arms and take as many as they can. The government leaders who govern these cities are thinking about votes, not the safety and security of their citizens. When a large group of people migrates, generally, they don't bring all their possessions or the necessary things to survive for an extended period. The challenges for law enforcement would be the lack of resources to help these people. Lack of food, shelter, and water creates conditions which become angry mobs. Think about Katrina or any other natural disaster which affects large portions of the population. It's time for our leaders to open their eyes and stop putting us in harm's way.
