Dan Mascolo is the Head Coach of the YMCA Spartaquatics Swim (YSSC) program. Dan has been the Associate Head Coach of the National Champion YMCA Short Course and Long Course Cheshire Y/Sea Dog Swim Club for the past 13 years, along with being the Head Coach for the CT State Champion Cheshire High School Girl's Team for the past 6 years. Dan has provided leadership to YMCA swimming championships and Connecticut High School championships, winning the 2017 State Championship with Cheshire High School as Head Coach. The Cheshire YMCA Women won the 2018 YMCA Short Course National Championship and the Long Course National Championship. Dan has twice been recognized as the Connecticut Age Group Coach of the Year, won the YMCA Character Champion Award, coached over 100 swimmers YMCA National Top 10 performances, and his swimmers have won 16 Connecticut Age Group Team Championships.
