It is a home rule-class city, with a population over 25,000 people, and located along the Kentucky River. Its home to the Center for Kentucky History Museum, With so many exhibits, spread across three buildings, the Center for Kentucky History does its best to show that Kentucky history is more than racehorses, bourbon, fried chicken, and the skull of Daniel Boone.
