The last Unofficial 40 before Christmas. So Merry Christmas everybody! It's almost that other magical time of the year, Portal Season. The guys get together and talk about exactly what is happening inside the Switzer Center as players are starting to announce their intentions to the enter the portal which opens Jan. 2. Where are the Sooners looking to fill their biggest needs? What coaches will be around to coach these guys in the spring? We've also got some John Mateer talk for you as we're still hashing over his role in this offense and as the leader of the OU offense. The linebacker position is one of those positions we're all keeping a close eye on. And the front office is working hard to bring back some players you might have just expected to either move on or enter the NFL draft.
