The impact of Juan Manuel’s entrepreneurship alone makes this an incredible story. But from an educator’s perspective, what makes this story even more compelling is that Juan Manuel Lopera emerged from the violent streets of Medellin, Colombia in the 90s. And he says he owes it all to his middle school math teacher.
