Canon is the official imaging supplier of Rugby World Cup France 2023 so in honour of the Women’s & Men’s Rugby World Cup 2023, we will be celebrating the diversity in sports photography in this episode of Shutter Stories. Our host Ilvy Njiokiktjien is joined by two guests: Isabel Infantes, a seasoned football photographer with a news background who has recently broken into photographing tennis. And Phill Magakoe, a photojournalist, sports photographer and Canon Ambassador with a passion for rugby, currently working in South Africa. The conversation covers everything from what makes a great sports photograph, to the changes our guests have seen in industry since starting out and whether they feel that diversity is being improved.
