Dave and Patti have both worked at camp for people with disabilities, so they spend some time sharing some (very) basic tips and advice for those thinking about working with people with disabilities for the first time, and camps looking to become more inclusive. They cover, what someone should consider before applying to camp/ accepting a job, what camp directors can do to improve their offering, some things staff should consider when helping campers with disabilities during programming, and why someone should work at a camp for folks with disabilities. Plus Patti rants for a moment about something you should never say and Professor Dave makes a big announcement!
