DAP chairman Arang Road in Kuching urged DAP to oppose SUPP in all the seats where SUPP is contesting in the upcoming Sarawak election. Alan explained that, although it was not an official statement from the Sarawak DAP party leader. But it is indeed the wish of all DAP members. According to Alan, history proves that since the establishment of DAP in 1978, they have been a strong rival to SUPP. Asked if PH will oppose GPS in the upcoming Sarawak state election. Alan as the PH secretary insisted that in terms of principle- we will oppose GPS. However, the official results and announcements have not yet been announced. We will field young and capable candidates to prepare the party if we succeed in taking over the state administration. Alan Ling said.
