RC 399 – Still Not OK

Over 2 months since my last podcast, the longest time away since the hiatus and 2008, but I’ve been busy with funerals, probate, and grieving. I think this will likely be my last podcast of 2024, good riddance to this year but unlikely to do a Xmas podcast for the first time ever because I don’t feel that festive. In fact Xmas is a sore point this year…and likely every year onwards. A bunch of resistance songs and merry songs for the apocalypse, I do love to soundtrack that one (yr welcome). An angry podcast reacting to the news of Trump’s election, the state of the world, and how I am in a fighting mood (I have to be given the shit I’ve had from banks, organisations and pensions) but also reflective too. Selections from the new Jamie XX album, some new mashups from me created for the podcast and before and after John died, punk, new age, soul, covers, ancient Roman music and modern Lebanese songs about Romans, shoe gaze, indie and my favourite mashup of the year and more.
