Powada - Afzal Khan ka Vadh Powada is a traditional Marathi Ballad that celebrates deeds of popular figures and Leaders like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Tanaji Malusare, Baji Prabhu Deshpande. It is a dramatic narration in by alternatively reciting poetic and prosaic extracts to inspire people. They are also written to raise awareness on socio political issues and has history of more than 700 years Purani Jeans pays tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with this Powada.
