Traveling the world as a member of a singing group in her 20’s and 30’s, Jake reconnected with her life’s true love in her 40’s and immediately went to a reproductive specialist to try to conceive a baby while she had time. After multiple losses and procedures throughout the years and being told that she had a less than 5% chance of having a viable pregnancy, Jake got pregnant via egg donation from a younger family member. While Jake had several issues during her pregnancy, she ultimately gave birth to her beautiful baby girl at the age of 51 years old, with an amazing support team comprised of her OB, doula, and holistic advisor.
