She is the dean of the school of Allied Health Professions and a professor of rehabilitation sciences at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. She has been on faculty at LSU Shreveport for more than 20 years, many different positions from chief physical therapist, instructor, program director of the DPT program and director of the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency, for which she was instrumental in developing and gaining accreditation.
