Podcast: Providence Journal men's college basketball preview

Welcome back, folks. It's time for college basketball. This is Bill Koch, sports writer with the Providence Journal. I'm joined by Nick Coit, the sports director at ABC6 and a weekend co-host of Cordischi and Coit on WEEI-Providence. It's great to be back with you after a long summer away. This is the first of three parts -- our men's preview in Rhode Island. We hit the four Division I teams here and follow with two more podcasts this week -- the four women's Division I teams and our bold (or not so bold) predictions. Providence (1:20) has a new coach and retains NCAA Tournament aspirations. The University of Rhode Island (20:30) looks for progress in the second year of its rebuild. Brown (35:45) seeks a long-awaited breakthrough to Ivy Madness. Bryant (50:25) attempts to push off-court turmoil to the side and excel with a talented roster. We'll be in this space at least once a week until the nets are cut down in early April. Looking forward to the journey with all of you.
