Questions About This Episode

What is From the wrong "dream job" to entrepreneurship about?

After 15 years in the corporate world, our guest woke up one day feeling unfulfilled, stuck, frustrated and even guilty about her own situation. This realization came up only four months into what she had considered to be her "dream job." She then began to meet entrepreneurs and worked in understanding their main struggle: generating sales. With her long experience in the area, she developed a solution addressing the needs of female entrepreneurs, and made the transition from being a full-time employee to a full-time business owner. She's now a trainer and a coach who is helping entrepreneurs build their own multi-million-dollar sales organizations. This is my conversation with Ryann Dowdy. Ryann is a sales coach for female entrepreneurs. She brings her years of corporate sales leadership to coaching women in business on how to ask for what they're worth, develop pricing and packaging, and approach each sales conversation with confidence. She offers free training on sales, sales process, discovery calls, handling objections, closing, and networking. Ryann works hand in hand with female entrepreneurs to help them overcome their negative mindset around sales to bring on more clients, help more people, and make more money. These are some of the highlights of my conversation with Ryann: - How she progressively transitioned from her full-time job to starting her own business. - Why it's important to take our time, communicate with people, make mistakes and learn while starting our own business. - Why we shouldn't be concerned too much about the "imposter syndrome."
