This week’s special guest for is the incredible Dr. Joy. Dr. Joy Harden Bradford is a Licensed Psychologist, Author, Media Personality, and the founder of Therapy for Black Girls. She focuses on making mental health topics more relevant and accessible for Black women while using pop culture to further illustrate psychological concepts. In this episode, we dive into the relationship between mental health and the Black community. We discuss everything from the need for more Black mental health professionals, to PROPER self care practices and the intersection of faith, culture, and therapy.
