Beyond that, he is an independent scholar in the history of astronomy, a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, and a longtime contributor to the astronomical literature. Within the ALPO, Bob has served as Book Review Editor for the Journal of the ALPO, helping observers navigate the ever-growing world of astronomy resources.
