Ine Gevers (curator, schrijver en artistiek directeur)

Ine Gevers is curator, schrijver en artistiek directeur van Stichting Niet Normaal. Stichting Niet Normaal dankt zijn naam aan de grootschalige ‘Niet Normaal’ tentoonstelling in de Beurs van Berlage in 2009/2010. Gevers wil in haar werk kunst, technologie en samenleving samenbrengen. Dit doet ze in tentoonstellingen als ‘Hacking Habitat’, ‘Robot Love’ en ‘Fake Me Hard’. Ook schreef ze ‘Curating: the Art of Creating Contexts’ en was ze de samensteller, schrijver en redacteur van zowel tentoonstelling als publicatie ‘Ik + de Ander, art and the human condition’ en het boek ‘Voorbij Ethiek en Esthetiek’. Nu cureerde ze de tentoonstelling ‘AUTONOMOUS’, die voortbouwt op ‘Niet Normaal’. De tentoonstelling presenteert neurodivers denken als essentiële vorm van verzet tegen een samenleving die draait op efficiëntie en waarin neurodivers denken bestempeld wordt als een beperking.
