Motherhood comes with a whole lot of ups and downs and sometimes our own transition inspires us to help others with theirs; that's certainly the case for Nikki MCCachon. She talks us through her experience with post partum depression, which she believes was further driven by a lack of community and how it inspired her to create Mama Tribe which has now evolved into the Dear Mama Project - a space to educate and support mothers. We delve into the notion of matrescence and talk openly about how important it is to not only nurture our children during this period, but also ourselves.
