He has received two Academy Award nominations for his screenplay adaptations of The Hours and The Reader. In this event presented by Melbourne Theatre Company in partnership with The Wheeler Centre, David Hare spoke with Australian barrister and writer Julian Burnside about politics, art and the writing life.
