Th is is perhaps one of the most controversial passages of Scripture when it comes to marriage, because no woman wants to be considered as a "weaker vessel." However, if we dig deeper into the meaning of the phrase "weaker vessel," it is actually a term the ancients used for fine china. It was called weaker vessel because it was not as clunky as everyday dishes. So let's read that again: "Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as fine china...." Now there is a great example of how to treat our wives. And the result?
