ECI one year on: a successful start, but plenty more to do

ECI Week (8-14 April) was the opportunity to raise awareness about the European Citizens' Initiative via the European Commission's social media platforms. The week, timed to coincide with the first anniversary of the ECI, also included a conference hosted by the European Economic and Social Committee on what conclusions can be drawn from the first twelve months of the EU's experiment with participatory democracy, as well as a Twitter chat with Vice-President Šefčovič (catch up here via the Storify:
