The Bayside Grannies

Welcome to the Majellan Podcast. In this podcast we look at an article in the Winter issue of The Majellan about a group called the Bayside Grannies who raise money for grandmothers in Africa. They’re not just any grandmothers. They’re raising their grandchildren because their sons and daughters have been ravaged by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Without their grandmothers these children would be orphans. Started by Judith Carter in Melbourne, Bayside Grannies have gone from strength to strength. This is their story.
