Nationally renowned Ross Greene, an expert in the the field of ADHD in children, provides an overview of Collaborative & Proactive Solutions: Lives in the Balance. Dr. Greene shares his work collaborating between kids and adults in resolving the problems contributing to children's behavioral challenges. Objectives: 1. Provide an overview of Lives in the Balance CPS model and how to support collaborative and proactive solutions improve the lives of families and children who are behaviorally challenged. 2. Highlight ways that primary care physicians can work with families to promote positive parenting and disciplinary practices for children with ADHD. 3. Discuss ways that the CPS model has been implemented in the school setting and how primary care providers can work with schools to promote positive changes to working with children with ADHD.
