Siddha Medicine for Enlightenment with Dr Janani

This episode was recorded while we were in the south of India, in Tamil Nadu, staying at the Sri Narayani Holistic Centre for Ayurveda and Siddha Medicine. Our Vedic meditation teacher Laura Poole had the honour of speaking with the head doctor there – Dr Janani – all about Siddha Medicine for spiritual enlightenment and how you can experience this healing for yourself at the Sri Narayani Holistic Centre. The centre is one of the many projects of Sri Sakthi Amma , who is an avatar, an incarnation of the goddess Sri Narayani. It sits within the town of Thirumalikodi, where Amma’s ashram and Sri Purum Golden Temple are. The centre opened in 2019 continuing Amma’s mission of alleviating those suffering from pain, disease, or imbalance in the body, mind, or soul. Before Dr. Janani came to work with Amma at the centre, she worked as a personal Siddha physician for the president of India for 4 years. She has written 21 research articles on a variety of topics related to Siddha medicine, she is a mother, devotee of the Divine Mother, and a vibrant woman who loves to share her love of the ancient system of Siddha medicine.
