Hoy os acercaremos el cuarto trabajo de un músico muy apreciado en el tejado, el vocalista y compositor de Los Ángeles, Michael Franks. El disco se llamó Burchfield Nines y fue editado en el año 1978 a través de Warner. Producido por Tommy Lipuma tras los maravillosos The Art of Tea y Sleeping Gips, Burchfield Nines es un disco muy característico de la música de Franks. Excelentes temas, suaves aunque complejas melodías, letras profundamente irónicas, músicos espectaculares y arreglos de primer nivel, en este caso realizados por el músico brasileño Eumir Deodato.
