Ben Rutherford, Senior Director - Legal, ITIA E124

Ben is the Senior Director, Legal at International Tennis Integrity Agency. He is a barrister and solicitor with 12+ years’ experience at top-tier firm and in-house, previously leading World Rugby’s Integrity Unit and now heading the International Tennis Integrity Agency’s new legal department. Ben has a significant amount of experienced in sports law, with experience across corruption, betting, anti-doping, governance, discipline and athlete education in particular. He has worked on various committees and projects with the IOC, WADA, UN and INTERPOL on matters of anti-doping and corruption in sport. In this podcast Ben talks about his extensive career working in-house in sport, shares insights into his role and the work of the ITIA. He also discusses the trends and developments he is seeing with regards to matters of sports integrity. We thoroughly enjoyed the interview and took a lot away from it. We hope you do the same.
