There are some people that say they grew up in the industry, but Galen Hooks ACTUALLY grew up working in the industry. Pulling in experiences starting when she was only 7 years old, Galen and I sat down and talked about everything from self discipline, class etiquette, teacher/student responsibilities in the classroom, working with her icons, her work as an activist, and the state of the dance game now. My hope is that everyone who watches/listens to this is inspired. Inspired to act. Inspired to start. Inspired to persevere.
