But in the cities and towns of El Salvador, the gang is a disruptive force, driving migrants to seek asylum in America. Many people forget that the gang is actually a U.S. export, born in Southern California, as we hear in Part Two of Doug's series,"A Desperate Frontier: Death And Dreams in El Salvador."
