Macmillan Launches a NEW Imprint; 12 Books From Lithub.com

You may have read (or at least heard of) "Before the Fall" by Noah Hawley, "Seriously, I'm Kidding" by Ellen Degenerous, or "Pachinko" by Min Jin Lee. Or perhaps you have picked up a book by Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, or Al Franken. If so, you can thank Jamie Rabb, former President & Publisher of Grand Central Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Book Group and Deb Futter, the former publisher of Twelve and Vice President & Editor-in-Chief of Grand Publishing. The publishing powerhouses have now joined forces to launch Celadon Books , a new Macmillan imprint that publishes a highly curated list of 20-25 fiction and nonfiction titles a year, reflecting the eclectic taste of its founders. Roxanne recently sat down with Jamie and Deb in NYC to talk about just what it takes to launch an imprint, what we have to look forward to from Celadon and more.
