A rainforest tribal herbalist from Costa Rica born into a lineage of healing women. Throughout the years she studied and continues to study, different healing traditions such as Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, North American traditional medicine and European style alchemy. Deeply fascinated with archetypes, astrology, cosmology and consciousness she founded Anima Mundi Herbals in NYC with the purpose to provide a unadulterated medicinal herb line that integrated native traditions and ancient formulations. On this episode she shares her story of becoming one with the rainforest, becoming a mother, and her vision for herbal medicine as a norm to new medicine.
