👋🏽 Hey, it's Jaylen - I had to pop back in before the day was over and discuss today's release of the May 2023 Job Numbers Report. The Employee payroll numbers scared me at first because they were so good, but the unemployment numbers increased..which is a good sign. That means the Federal Reserve FOMC might see a reason to continue to consider a pause on the interest rate hikes in its fight for inflation. Can we get a soft landing vs. a hard recession??? Also, Disney...oh Disney, their lawsuit with DeSantis over their response to Florida's "Don't Say Gay Bill" and DeSantis' response of "abolishing" the Reedy Creek Improvement District isn't looking too good. The original judge, an Obama Appointee, recused himself over 30 shares of Disney stock owned by a cousin, and now a Trump Republican Appointee is on the bench for the case.
