"The World's Most Dangerous Announcer," a nickname coined for Garry Michael Cappetta by James Cornette, is one of the most iconic voices in wrestling. Cappetta has announced marquee matchups going back to 1974, performing for the World Wide Wrestling Federation, American Wrestling Association, and World Championship Wrestling. In 2024, Capetta celebrated 50 years in the Pro Wrestling Industry. Mostly as an announcer, but also working as a backstage interviewer, a producer, and as an author. Bodyslams!: Memoirs of a Wrestling Pitchman was published on January 24th and is currently available on Amazon.
