These are two senses that I feel we wouldn't necessarily think would interfere with our kid's daily lives, yet they really do, sometimes sparking temper tantrums. Alisha Grogan is a pediatric occupational therapist who during grad school was immersed in sensory integration which is a very specific type of therapy that helps children with sensory processing difficulties.
