Between 2007 and 2017 he led the Trussell Trust through its transition from a small Christian Charity to a multi award winning national organisation that launched over 450 foodbanks. Amidst all the success, he speaks candidly and movingly about the loss of his beloved wife Angela, his own health issues, and now the exciting future at Ffald y Brenin Christian retreat centre.
