In this episode Nikky’s guest is Oriel Davis- Lyons, Creative Director at Spotify . Oriel is an award-winning Creative Director working at Spotify in New York. Previously, he worked at some of the world's top agencies including Droga5, Colenso BBDO and R/GA. His work often addresses social issues ranging from internet censorship to animal cruelty and mental health. In 2016 he worked a TV spot for Hillary Clinton's Presidential campaign that Forbes called "a masterpiece of political advertising." In 2019 he started a gun violence prevention campaign to put graphic labels on boxes of ammunition. Most recently he is trying to address the systemic barriers to entry in the advertising industry by mentoring young creatives of colour.
