Welcome to In The Shade! We are Jenny Wilson and Isabelle Encela, two women of color that wanted to start a platform that brings awareness to unsolved cases, missing persons, and stories where the conclusion still seems a little suspicious - all about victims of color. On the same vein, we also cover people of color who are serial killers, who don't become the subjects of tv shows, movies, books or other media. We both share a love for true crime and realized that there is an underrepresentation of people of color in the media. These stories often fall through the cracks and are left behind.
