Christmas: Ep 2: Journey to Bethlehem (2 of 5)

Joseph deals with a dilemma, Caesar Augustus creates a new edict, Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem, Jesus is born, and the Heavenly Hosts announce the joyous news about Jesus' birth to all in Bethlehem. Three prophecies are fulfilled: Isaiah 7: Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 42: I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations. Isaiah 9: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders, and He will be called 'Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.' Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness form that time on and forever.
