Fibromyalgia has been a big problem for Dominique McQuade. She has tried many different methods to relieve the pain. She also developed an acute spinal injury, which exacerbated her overall pain. She saw the iFloat brochure at a local hospital in May 2015 and she thought floating would help. Dominique participated in iFloat's 12 week research program where people with chronic symptoms, such as anxiety and pain, float once a week and fill out surveys before and after their float. Listen to Dominique talk about how floating has helped her with relieving her pain. Dominique also talks about how taking the Mental Arts classes at iFloat have been helping her physically and in her relationships. This is a great podcast for examining the relationship between the mind and body. Dominique and David also talk about her experiences with religion and how religious beliefs are different from self meta programs (or beliefs-in-real) as defined by John C. Lilly.
